The classic 2015 zombie-mod build, rewritten for hard balance. No pay-to-win, no immortal donors — the round is decided by skill and teamwork alone.

It is built on the classic 2015 build — the very one a whole generation of players grew up on. We brought back the old-school zombie-mod atmosphere, but reworked everything that had stayed broken for years.
The main goal is to remove the imbalance between humans and zombies, between regular players and privilege holders. We do have privileges, but they are balanced — nobody turns into an invincible god. Fights are decided by skill and teamwork.
The server is alive — it breathes and changes together with the people who play on it. Every event, every update is the result of a collective decision.
Players optionally donate to the project. In return — also optionally — they get in-game bonuses in the form of privileges. It is a thank-you, not merchandise.
Nobody becomes an immortal god. These are moderate perks that never steal the win from regular players. Skill always beats donations.
Every cent goes to the server, marketing, plugins, DDoS protection, map updates and content for the community. Not a cent into the admin’s pocket.
The project exists for a warm community and a love of old-school CS 1.6 zombie mod. This is where people who want to play — not profit off others — gather.
Quarantine Zone lives thanks to its players and exists for its players.
// the project teamIn our community, players decide for themselves how the server evolves. No one-man admin calls, no “I said so, deal with it”.
Every change — new classes, rebalances, removing controversial mechanics — is decided by a vote in our Telegram group. If you play on the server, your voice counts.
It is a rare format for CS 1.6, and that is exactly why Quarantine Zone has stayed alive for years.

Quarantine Zone is a hardcore Counter-Strike 1.6 (CS 1.6) zombie-mod server running the balanced 2015 build. We have several privilege tiers, but they are balanced — no pay-to-win, just the classic Zombie Mod in its harshest form.
The server is made for those who remember the “old school” of zombie servers and want those feelings back: one bite means turning, fear of the infected carrier, a fight for every bullet.
There are two ways to connect to the Quarantine Zone zombie server:
~ (tilde) key and type:connect 45.13.151.232:27015If CS 1.6 does not pick up the server, make sure your client is up to date (CS 1.6 Steam or a current non-Steam build).
Server IP: 45.13.151.232:27015. The port is the standard 27015.
The server is located in Europe; ping across Europe stays consistently low (~30–80 ms depending on region).
Most modern CS 1.6 ZM servers suffer from three problems: pay-to-win privileges that turn a donor into an invincible god; one side being overpowered (either humans too strong or zombies too fast); and dozens of bots to fake the player count.
Quarantine Zone is different:
Playing on the server is completely free — hop in and play right away, with no time or feature limits.
We do not sell privileges. Players optionally donate to the project and, in return — also optionally — receive in-game bonuses in the form of privileges. All of them are balanced: moderate perks, not a transformation into an invincible god. A privilege holder never steals the win from regular players and never makes an average donor stronger than a skilled player without privileges.
The rotation features classic zm maps: zm_lila_panic, zm_dust_world, zm_zombust, zm_battleground and other hits of the 2014–2015 builds. The full list and the current map are shown on the home page.
Yes. The server has 32 slots — bring the whole crew. Voice and text chat both work, and there is a Telegram community for coordination.
The default CS 1.6 browser sometimes filters out non-Steam servers. Fix: add the server manually via Favorites, or connect through the console with connect 45.13.151.232:27015.
Most likely it is not on your end — it is a restriction on your internet provider’s side. Some ISPs and mobile carriers throttle UDP traffic or specific IP ranges that host CS servers.
